The classic damage of Canon printer is totally dead, printer lights blinking with green-orange, and message “Waste ink tank full”. Type of these damage is mostly the same, because the waste ink container “somewhat like spoons” has been saturated” waste ink tank full “. Canon printer usually place the ink waste container in the bottom of the printer. When ink is not flow to cartridge, usually found on UV type printer, we should do a manual cleaning maintenance. Then ink will be flows in to waste ink container.
If damage has occurred, we must take a reset the printer . It goal is to delete the printer information about the early condition of the printer, including the “waste ink tnk full” status. There are two methods to reset the printer : manual and programming way. Canon i255 printer to require both (manual and software)
Resetting manually i255 type:
Plug Off all cables/wire
Push Power button while plug the cable on (on same times)
Push Resume button once (Power Button still pressed)
Push Resume button once again
release (un push Power button)
